Azienda Agricola Turrini was born in 2007 out of the passion of Mario who started his business in Noffo (Pertica Alta) and Gardone V.T. (Valle Trompia) where he planted the first seeds of this family-run farm.
At the beginning, mostly apples and pears were grown at the farm and they were sold fresh directly at the farm.x
Over time, we started to grow soft fruit such as raspberries, blackberries, red currants and strawberries, and we mainly made these fresh fruits into tasty jams and juices in our factory located in Valle Trompia too.
This passion passed down over generations and now shared with Matteo, Mario’s son, has expanded the vision of the company. Within the «Resilient Valleys» project and after entering the tender to manage the «Rebecco Farm», we have nominated Turrini to lead the first network of Italian agricultural undertakings.
At Rebecco we offer rural tourism services in our inn consisting of 7 bed places and a dining hall.
Young Matteo is now at the head of the farm after taking over his father, and he has started this new activity thanks to taking part of the «Restart Alp» campus for young farmers, which has made it possible to draft a corporate business plan aided by experts.
The Rebecco rural tourism services started after an old melting furnace was repaired and renovated. The coal bunkers and the barn have been renovated so that now you can relax in comfortable rooms, taste and buy local products at the dining hall, and stroll amid the rows of fields of soft fruit on the banks of the Mella river. Since the farm is strategically close to the Greenway of the Resilient Valleys, it is the perfect place to stay if you are a bicycle tourism lover.
