The event is scheduled at 10 a.m.
After the institutional greetings by the mayor of Pezzaze and Massimo Ottelli, president of the Valle Trompia Mountain Community, Professor Barbara Scala will introduce the convention by describing the entire conservative restoration process implemented on the Rebecco buildings, while the Director of the Mountain Community, Fabrizio Veronesi, will explain how this project also gave birth to the ‘Guidelines for the knowledge and conservation of the rural mountain architectural heritage of Valle Trompia’.
Afterwards, the Rebecco Farmers will describe the network of agricultural undertakings that has won the tender to run this place, and tell us about how this network was born and developed, as well as the management programme for the coming years, including events, education, tourism promotion, and product marketing. Finally, after some comments about the Greenway and the Circuit of the Welcoming and Supportive Valleys, the documentary by Carla Fausti on the restoration of Rebecco will be screened.
At around 12 noon the Rebecco Farmers will delight everyone with a buffet based on typical products, in collaboration with a foodtruck that will prepare delicious 0-km pizzas.
Two on-site experiences will start in the afternoon at 2 p.m.: a mini-course on ‘vegetable garden’ for adults, and for children, a creative workshop with Nature’s gifts.
